Stories for reading together.

A note from Joshua.

I’m a father of four, and family life inspired me to create The Hartwells of Willowwick. I write rhyming picture books for children aged 4–8 and the grown-ups reading beside them.

I wanted Willowwick to be a place where families could laugh together, ask questions and see things from someone else’s point of view. Rosie and Toby have plenty to work out, and I want children to have room for their own ideas as they follow the adventures.

I hope you enjoy reading the stories together, and that you find yourselves still talking about them after the book closes.

THE HARTWELLS OF WILLOWWICK

Come and meet
the Hartwells.

In Willowwick, toast can end up swimming in honey, and Pickle the dog has his eye on the sausages.

But what happens when the whole town is told to agree? Or when Sports Day arrives without a finish line? Follow Rosie and Toby in Everyone Must Agree Day and The Race Without a Finish.
